The department of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck surgery at Welcare Hospital, Ernakulam has modern facilities and adopts many latest procedures. Our department is open for all working days, to provide continuous care to patients. The hospital has full-fledged procedure room equipped with otologic microscope, nasal endoscopes and a video-laryngoscope to aid in comprehensive and accurate diagnosis. Inpatient care is provided in private rooms and for this we have separate male and female wards manned by well trained nurses. The testing, diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose and throat disorders, as well as areas of head and neck are carried out by our ent department in close association with the specialties of neurology, neurosurgery, pulmonology, radiology, anaesthesia and internal medicine. The hospital is well equipped with latest diagnostic and surgical instruments, specialized for ent care and treatment.
