Has a wide range of experience in Clinical nephrology, Hypertension Leptospirosis and critically ill patients with multi-organ dysfunction
Popularized early detection of chronic kidney disease in Mid Kerala, did the first kidney transplantation in Mid Kerala and Kerala’s first Cadaver Transplantation
Had Nephrology training at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science – Chandigarh
Managed more than 1600 renal transplants in the last 30 years with good graft and patient survival
Established good maintenance dialysis programme in peripheral hospitals using online facilities
Managed 66 cadaver transplants through KNOS ( Kerala Network Of Organ Sharing) as a single unit with good graft and patient survival
Actively involved in charity and philanthropic work and is the president of Cochin Kidney Foundation (CKF)

Member of various National & International Societies
In 2005 December he organized the 36th National Conference of the Indian Society of Nephrology (ISNCON) at Cochin
Awarded the Fellow of the Indian Society Of Nephrology (FISN) in this prestigious meeting
He is a Fellow of Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), Glasgow University since 2010
Organized the 6th International Leptospirosis Society meeting at Cochin in 2009.

Has contributed chapters of Renal Transplantation in books
Was the President of Nephrology Associations of Kerala (NAK)
