Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

1st and only PICU in Malappuram District with a qualified Pediatric Intensivist.

We treat sick cases like

• Metabolic disorders.
• CNS infections.
• Renal disorders.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

• 1st Neonatal Care Centre in Northern Kerala Founded in 1993, with Advanced Facilities.
• Care of sick neonates and pre term babies.
• Neonatal Ventilator care. (Dedicated Neonatal Ventilators, Bubble    Bipap, CPAP.
• Surfactant Therapy.
• Exchange transfusion and management of Hyper bilirubinemia.
• Incubators, Open care warmers, Pulse oxymeters, Syringe Infusion pumps, drip infusion pumps, Radiant Warmers, Phototherapy units, Neonatal Multi Para Monitors, Blood gas Analyser.
• Management of babies with congenital anomalies.
• Management of babies with perinatal asphyxia meconioum aspiration syndrome, PPHN etc.
• Trained Staffs providing round the clock service.

Neuro Developmental Paediatrics

• Neuro developmental assessment.
