Dr. Dona Sebastian is an enthusiastic, dynamic Foetal Medicine Specialist with a strong academic background and excellent clinical acumen. Her areas of special interest are targeted anomaly scan, Foetal echo, Neurosonogram, 3D-4D Scans and various Invasive Foetal Procedures. She graduated her MBBS from Amala Medical College (Calicut University), MS Obstetrics & Gynecology from MOSC Medical College (KUHS), following which she was in medical college service for one year. Dr. Dona completed her fellowship in Foetal Maternal Medicine from CIMAR Edappal and has worked as a consultant in Foetomaternal unit there. She has done the Federation of Obstetrics & Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI) training course on advanced ultrasound. She has also completed the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (ISUOG) program OBGYN Scan, with more than 80% score. She has also got certification of competence in Foetal abnormalities training in the Foetal Medicine Foundation UK (FMF UK). She has completed the ultrasound course for 1st, 2nd & 3rd trimester in pregnancy by FOGSI, FMF India with 76% score and attended training programs by Arab Association for Foetal Medicine & Surgery (ASFMS). She is also a trainer of various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. She is also a member of The International Prenatal Cardiology Collaboration Group (IPCCG), International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology (ISUOG), Society of Fetal Medicine (FMF), Federation of Obstetric & Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI). Dr. Dona is also trained in managing High risk pregnancies such as prenatal diagnosis of genetic disease and carrier screening in couples, care of IVF pregnancies, twins and higher order pregnancies, treatment of diabetes mellitus, hypertension, liver, renal, cardiac disease, preterm birth prevention, foetal anaemia, recurrent pregnancy loss and growth disorders in foetus.
