Dr. K Balachandran did his MBBS from the first Medical College in Kerala State, Trivandrum Medical College in 1971. He joined Kerala Health Services in 1972. He pursued his D. Ortho from Trivandrum Medical College in 1988 and served the Kerala Health Services up to 2001 and retired as Deputy Director of Health Services. He has been working as Orthopaedic Surgeon from 1989 onwards. After retirement, Dr. Balachandran joined Ernakulum Medical College as Orthopaedic Surgeon and worked until 2004. He has also worked as Orthopaedic Surgeon in many reputed private hospitals in Ernakulum. Dr. Balachandran has a rich experience of 42 years in the field of Orthopaedics. His services are now available in Renai Medicity’s Accident & Emergency Department.
