Dr. Krishnanunni Polakulath, our Medical Director & Consultant Physician has over a decade of meticulous and exhaustive consultation experience in the field of internal Medicine. He received his basic Medical degree (MBBS) in 1999 from Dr. B. R. Ambedhkar Medical College, Bangalore. He then pursued his medical studies in the prestigious Imperial College, London and obtained his Diploma in Internal Medicine in 2003. Dr. Krishnanunni has also taken his fellowship from Royal Society of Medicine, London. He has worked as physician in many reputed hospitals in Kerala prior to taking charge as Renai Medicity’s Medical Director & Consultant Physician in the year 2012. Dr. Krishnanunni is an active member of many learned societies viz. Indian Medical Association, Karnataka Medical Council, The Travancore Cochin Medical Council, Cochin Critical Care Society, RSSDI, QPMPA etc. He has also participated and presented papers in several national and international medical conferences. His specific areas of interests are in the field of diabetes, Geriatrics (care of the elderly) and Infectious disease. His compassionate attitude in listening to patients, addressing their concerns and placing their health and welfare above all has made him a recognised specialist in our Internal Medicine department.
