Dr. Neena Baby is a talented Neurologist, well trained in the management of adult and paediatric Neurology. She completed her MBBS from Govt Medical College, Kottayam in 2002 and MD from Govt TD Medical College, Alappuzha in 2007. She did her DM (Neurology) from Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute, Thrissur, Kerala University of Health Sciences. She did 2 year Fellowship training in Paediatric Neurology from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi in 2016. She won Best Award paper in National Epilepsy Conference-ECON 2016. She had very good academic excellence and was the Prize winner in six Quiz Competitions in Neurology/Pediatric Neurology, National/International Conferences during her DM residency period. She is the author of numerous publications as first author in many national as well as international journals. She is a peer reviewer of many indexed/international journals and also, an associate editor. Presented many papers and posters during conferences and was faculty in CMEs. Areas of Interest: Stroke, Pediatric Neurology, Neuromuscular disorders, Epilepsy, Neurodevelopmental disorders, Dementia, Movement disorders, Headache, Genetic Metabolic disorders and Neuroinfections. Field of original Research works: Young stroke-Ischemic and haemorrhagic stroke; Ketogenic diet therapy in epilepsy; Down syndrome; Paediatric stroke.
