Dr. Raj Mohan R. P is among the best trusted Orthopaedic & Joint Reconstruction Specialist in Kerala. Having done more than fifteen thousand orthopaedic operations, mostly joint replacements, Dr. Raj Mohan’s special interests include joint disorders and sports injury, orthopaedic trauma, knee arthroscopy, knee, hip, shoulder, elbow and ankle replacement surgeries and minimal access orthopaedic surgery. He graduated from Medical College, Trivandrum and took his Masters in Orthopaedics from Medical College, Trivandrum in 1997. Following that he worked in some of the major hospitals in the State. He took AO fellowship in joint replacement from University Hospital, Leuven, Belgium in 2004. He also got training from Freeman Hospital, Newcastle, UK and Musgrave Park Hospital, Belfast, UK and Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi and Hwasun Hospital, Republic of Korea. He has attended the AO Masters Course in Davos, Switzerland in 2014. Dr. Raj Mohan was a faculty to a lot of orthopaedic conferences held in national and international levels. He is an AO faculty and was a faculty in the AO course held in Ovifat, Belgium in 2006. He has also conducted a live surgery workshop on knee Arthroplasty at Renai Medicity in 2014. Dr. Raj also routinely performs corrective surgery for bone and joint deformities, paediatric orthopaedic surgeries, revision replacement for failed primary hip and knee replacements, trauma surgeries including closed nailing and minimal access plating of long bone fractures and percutaneous fixation of metaphyseal and epiphyseal fractures. Reconstruction of complex articular fractures is also performed.
