Dr. Sitalakshmi completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Nagpur. She completed her MD, Psychiatry from NIMHANS, Bangalore and DPM from CMC Vellore. She worked as lecturer in CMC Vellore. Post which she worked as a consultant Psychiatrist at Kusumagi Hospital, Cochin for 20 years. She started the psychiatry unit and autism centre there. She also worked as consultant psychiatrist at Lissie Hospital and Lourdes Hospital, Ernakulum. She is working as Senior Consultant in Renai Medicity since 2012. Her areas of interest are Child and Adolescent (Behavioural problems, Autism), Family Therapy, Women Psychiatry and Individual Psychotherapy.
