Mrs. Anju Varghese A is an Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist licensed with Rehabilitation Council of India since 1998. She is one of the senior most clinicians in the field with 23 years of experience in diagnostics and therapeutic management for both children and adults, and also in hearing related problems. She has completed her graduation in Speech-Language and Hearing from Hyperactive Disorder from Dr. M V. Shetty College, Manglore and completed her certificate course on Specific Learning Disability and also in Emotional Intelligence from IAET. She has previously worked in ASSISSI School for the Deaf, Muvattupuzha; PVS Memorial Hospital, Kaloor and Lakeshore Hospital, Kochi. She has undergone training in the therapy for deaf children and also has special training in Neuro Rehabilitation and Remedial training for Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder and Learning Disability. Her major area of interest is therapeutic management of children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders. Alongside speech therapy, she is also experienced in behavioural management for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders. She often conducts training programs for parents of children with special needs. She has written articles on Speech Language Disorders for various magazines.
