Mrs. Swapna is a compassionate Nutritionist with 12 years of experience since 2004. Gained experience from Lakshmi Hospital Ernakulum, Lourdes Hospital Ernakulam and from KIMS Kochi before joining to Renai Medicity. She is experienced in planning & provision of therapeutic diet, fluids & nutritional supplements, documentation, formulating Nutrition Care Plan along with providing Diet Counselling in both Inpatients and outpatients. She skilled in conducting Nutritional Assessment of Pre and Post operative conditions, clinical knowledge of specialized special dietetic products and in exceptional counselling and guidance aptitude. Executive Member of AEDAN (Association of Evidence based Dietetics and Nutrition). Area of interest is critical care nutrition. She completed Master of Science (Food Science & Nutrition) from University of Mysore (2002), Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics from Calicut University (1998), Bachelor of Science (Food Science & Quality Control) from M.G University (1997), Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics from Calicut University (1998) and completed HACCP Level 4 training in 2018. She published articles in leading Malayalam Health Magazines, Health talks in FM Radio channels and various charitable organizations. She selected as Additional Examiner, Nutrition and Biochemistry for B. Sc Nursing and post Basic Nursing MG University (2010) and Kerala University of Health Sciences in (2012 & 2013). She conducts health awareness programs to the public through seminars and camps.
