We at Renai believe that family and friends are most important for a patient to recover fully and feel happy and we welcome them to the hospital. All Patients admitted in to the hospital should compulsorily have a bystander.

Passes are issued at the time of admission to the bystander and for visitors during visiting time. It is important to show the passes while entering the hospital.

The patient’s bystander can stay overnight with the patient in the room or ward except when it is a critical care unit. However, as we understand the need to be near the patient, we assist them with lodging facility either in the hospital itself or in nearby hotels.

When patients are taken for procedures that will take more than two days to return to the room, it is important to vacate the room for the next waiting patient. Room will be allotted on priority soon after the surgery or procedure. The same room can be retained by the bystander on separate request. Charges will also be additional.

For female patients, the bystanders need to be females unless they are close family. For the male patients, bystander can be either sex. This is applicable in the general wards also.
