Infection prevention and control

Renai Medicity follows a strict infection control system in the hospital. Cleanliness is important in minimising the spread of infection. You can help prevent the spread of infections by keeping the space around you tidy and uncluttered so that cleaning staff can access all the surfaces easily. If you are concerned about cleanliness in the hospital or if you spot any dirt or dust, let the staff know about it.

Hand hygiene

Hand washing is easy to do and it’s one of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of many types of infection. When you are in the hospital, make sure you wash your hands with soap after going to the toilet, before and after eating, and at regular intervals. Waterless hand sanitisers have been made available next to your bed.

If you notice that a staff member may not have washed or put alcohol gel on their hands, challenge them they are happy to be reminded
